Is it safe to enter my credit card number online?

You can do so with complete confidence via our secure server, which will encrypt all the information you send. The secure connection is established between your browser and our server based on technology known as “secure socket layer” (SSL), which uses digital certificates. It is the standard technology for this type of transaction and is among the most secure technologies currently available for electronic commerce.

On completing the purchase form and expressing your intention to purchase your ticket(s), you will be directed to a secure site operated by Fareharbor, which will in turn use the Stripe and accept all credit cards, for processing the data. In order to increase the security of the process, you will be asked to provide a second number, the CVV2, which appears on the signature strip of your card.

Once you have successfully made your payment you will be provided with a purchase receipt — a voucher — containing the details of your purchase — purchaser’s name, date of the event, purchase reference, number of tickets purchased. You must print this out and present it at the Cine-Theatro Gymnásio box office, where it will be exchanged for your ticket(s).

After you have provided your credit card details, Fareharbor will send the cardholder an e-mail with a purchase receipt which you should retain for your own records.
